This course examines ethical problems in such areas as mercy killing, personal relations, business, sexuality, medicine, and the environment.

Covers new and emerging theories of governance; define basic values and ideas of public administration and public policy formulation in United States. It covers the gamut of subjects, including bureaucracy, history, personalities, ethics, and problems in public administration and management.

This course introduces essentials of government policy making in a way that you can understand. Public policy is emphasized throughout to reveal the impact that government has on our lives. Each institution involved in policy making is defined and highlighted separately in order to gain more proper understanding of the politics.


This course has public policy approach and “politics matters” theme so that you will learn how they are affected by politics in United States. Texas court, constitution and policymaking is also included.
